Grow with us as** a Commercial Finance Sr. Head **in **Kellogg.** **You will provide financial guidance and influence the commercial organization (including both sales and marketing). You will be accountable for over-delivering sales / profit, and cash flow targets for the year through enabling assertive decisions through volume, pricing, trade spending, and/or better mix. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring proper controls in Trade spending, as well as of driving simplification and standardization across the BU.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**

In your role as Commercial Finance Sr. Head will be part of our success by having the following responsibilities:

- Perform financial analysis for new business initiatives, validating inputs from different areas and discussing with multi-functional teams (both marketing and sales).
- Track trade spending and allowances execution by customer, ensuring budget compliance and accurate monthly spending visibility.
- Analyze distributors cost-to-serve and provide recommendations to maximize both Kellogg’s and client’s profitability, while making holistic proposals for delivering initiatives to grow the business.
- Lead Forecast and Actual analysis to influence business by driving cost, pricing, mix, and brand building decisions.
- Support decision-making by providing accurate financial projections for month-end close.
- Deliver monthly forecasts on time and with quality as per E2E calendar.
- Ensure financial closing figures are aligned with expectations. When not, identify variations and business rationale / explanations behind them.
- Reconcile trade spending accruals (both fixed and variable) and review compliance with budget.
- Controls: Prevent expense recognition and Internal Control gaps by proactively anticipating potential issues.
- Controls: Ensure expenses are recorded properly in all P&L lines,

**WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?**

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Required:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business-Related field
- Finance Experience or similar: 4-5 years’ experience (including internship) in financial positions. Previous experience in Commercial Finance is preferred / CPG experience is desirable as well.
- ** Bilingual**: English and Spanish fluent or native
- Proficient understanding of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, etc). SAP and financial planning systems.
