**We are seeking a driven and talented individual to join our Quality & Compliance team. This individual will bring a passion for simplification / continuous improvement, a strong communication skill set, and specializes in analyzing, designing, prioritizing and implementing a set of IT products, platforms and/or services transforming our IT end to end quality & compliance automations - software tools (CSV, Audit, Training, CAPA, QMR, etc). The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from ideation to implementation - while and adhering to the standard methodologies and process within IT. Leverages understanding of business strategy and needs to create a vision and roadmap for IT products, platforms and/or services. Ensures technologies add value and can scale Medtronic’s use of a given IT solution across various businesses, regions and functions. Additional responsibilities will be in the oversight and delivery of the compliance training and contributions to the Medtronic learning pathways designed for IT roles. This individual may act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for CAPAs that are part of the IT project portfolio and / or CAPAs that are within a business CAPA board oversight that includes IT systemic issues.
- Manages each phase of the systemic issue including issue triage, investigation, action, and effectiveness adhering to the policies, procedures and Key Performance Indicators set within our quality manual.
- Collaborates and influences effectively with global IT leaders and their resources on methods to prevent the issues and staff the work in each of the CAPA phases. Includes project management skills and methods that are used within the IT organization for effective resourcing of work needed to support CAPAs at projects.
- Lead CAPA teams as a project leveraging standard portfolio management processes and methods to support effectively managing CAPAs.
- Perform day to day activities as part of CAPA projects to identify root cause and develop an effective action plan. Maintain CAPA records that are audit ready. Use CAPA schedule to come up with a plan on how to execute each phase. Identify resource needs and gain commitment and prioritization of the work with their managers. Provide a consistent method of oversight of the work.
- Prepares reports and/or necessary documentation (ex Corrective and Preventative Actions) and provides to applicable stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Leads audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaises with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits.
- Facilitates uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission globally.
- Autonomy: Recognized expert, managing large projects or processes.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, with limited oversight from manager.
- Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to responsible resources of the work with oversight and ability to manage resources that don’t report to you.
- May manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.
- Innovation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult, moderately complex and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation.
- Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and/or makes moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems, or products independently to enhance performance of job area.
- Communication and Influence: Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels.
- May negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement, and influence decision-making.
- Leadership and Talent Management: Typically provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area
