**Scope and Authority**
The Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for project management and following up on new orders and projects from Sales department. The main responsibilities include managing projects and direct support to the customers with availability for national and international trips up to 50 % of the time.
We are looking for a result driven Project Coordinator who is able to make Marel the customer’s choice in providing Project Support. Maximize value creation to our customers and Marel, growing the business in the process. This position reports to the Regional Project Manager. This position will be based at Bogota´s office.
**Main tasks**
- Daily contact with the Back Office of Brazil, Iceland, Denmark, USA, Netherlands;
- Contact with customers in Latin America;
- Organization of projects.
- Planning the team and resources.
- Create cases, work order in CRM (ServiceMax) per project management required.
- Technical assistance to Back Office and Sales;
- Preparation of engineers on a technical level.
- Follow-up of the projects in direct contact with customers and within Marel´s areas;
- Provide information as Memo reports for every customer visit.
- Prepare a budget quotation to the Sales Department based on project execution.
- Provide technical information for customer.
- Plan and prepare meetings in order to follow up the project progress.
- Communicate regularly with other individuals/departments within the organization
- Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.
- Organize and plan the equipment tests required by Sales Department.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- A person who likes and has an easy relationship with people, due to the contact with different areas, including customers;
- Good verbal and written communication in Spanish and English;
- Skills with computer tools;
- Knowledge of the organizational structures of international companies;
- Administrative skills, time control, pending, distinguishing priorities, follow-up, feedback;
- Pro activity / Initiative;
- Ability in spreadsheets
- Good knowledge in AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment.
- Quick decision maker, energetic, effective communicator
- Result orientation, ability to follow through and respect deadlines.
**Preferred education and experience**
- ** Certifications**:
General education in Engineering or Technician.
- ** Education**:
College education preferred.
- ** Languages**:
Excellent written & spoken English and Spanish.
- ** Training**:
Communication, customer relations and project management.
- ** Skills**:
Proactive, organized and goal oriented preferred
- ** Experience**:
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Office package.
Experience of using a CRM is preferred.
