**Position Overview**:
**Location**: Remote with occasional travel

- **Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Modeling**: Lead the development of comprehensive financial models for the entire company, including different business units, partnerships, and scale-up scenarios. Ensure accuracy and agility as the company evolves.
- **Financial Forecasts**: Generate detailed financial forecasts to provide insights into cash cycles and inform executive decisions on funding prioritization vs. company deliverables.
- **JV Modeling**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design joint venture models, including cost-share and profit-share arrangements with partners, to enhance the company's attractiveness to funders and achieve revenue targets with mínimal upfront investment of CAPEX.
- **Strategic Financial Planning**: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic financial plans aligned with company objectives, growth initiatives, and market dynamics.
- **Financial Analysis and Insights**: Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making at the executive level, including identifying risks and opportunities associated with various financial strategies.
- **Partnership Management**: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, investors, and potential JV collaborators, to maximize funding opportunities and strategic alliances.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**: Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards, while implementing robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.
- **Resource Management**:Manage the company’s external financial service providers such as bookkeepers, accountants, tax specialists, etc. Restructure budgets for external vs. internal resources as needed to meet the company’s growing needs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field from a school/institute renowned for finance; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or related asset-heavy industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing joint venture financial models and structuring partnership agreements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance and supporting business growth.
