**This is a contract position with the intent to hire as a full-time employee in 30-90 days after start date.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partnering closely with legal to review and redline Information Security clauses of client contracts
- Manage and resolve security incidents promptly.
- Manage the execution of vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify security gaps.
- Develop and manage project plans to mitigate identified threats.
- Oversee the management of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. This includes setting up, maintaining, and optimizing EDR systems to effectively identify and address potential threats.
- Ensure proper implementation and administration of security systems like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and other related security tools and practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Monitor compliance and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence.
- Producing and presenting relevant cybersecurity metrics on an ongoing and timely basis
- Participate in the completion of security questionnaires provided by clients, offering detailed, accurate, and timely responses to ensure client confidence in our security posture.
- Deploy and manage MDM and MDR solutions
- Organize and quarterback “game day” disaster recovery simulations on a regular cadence
- Research and deploy cutting-edge security solutions, including the use of AI and LLMs as appropriate.

- Compliance Monitors and SLA
- Security improvements guided by DR simulation result

Qualifications:

- BS or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the information technology field
- 2+ years in information security administration
- Familiarity with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Possesses current certification(s) in cybersecurity that demonstrate active awareness and knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (i.e., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
- Experience collaborating with teams that are geographically distributed and working remotely.
- Experience defining, communicating, and training security best practices
- Positive and enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative orientation.
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and works with others at all levels.
