**Job Description**:
**HR Generalists Intern in this role get to**:
**Shape workplace culture**: Present and model HR philosophy and policies
**Be the expert**: Make sure all documents are in order and properly documented
**Strengthen relationships**: Resolve issues timely
**Keep Sutherland aligned**: Process queries in adherence with company policies and procedures
**Set the path to success**: Assist with the planning, preparation, hosting and administration of regularly scheduled audits
**Support the team**: Assist in documenting personnel actions and provide information to the proper department
**Improve workplace efficiency**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of human resource functions, business management and strategy, workforce planning and employment, benefits, employee relations, and risk management
- Ability to work in MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
- Ability to be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; able to be a team-player
