The Project:
The renovation of El Campín will create a new sports and cultural hub for the city of Bogota and Colombia, attracting world class events to the city, increasing tourism and delivering huge socioeconomic benefits.

Mace will bring our industry leading programme and construction management services along with experience from major sports and cultural projects including Tottenham Hotspurs’ Stadium, the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games, and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Manages the implementation and delivery of a range of risk services to designated project(s) within the PMO and planning centre of excellence.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

- Accountable for supporting the risk management performance and effective implementation of risk frameworks.
- Contributes to team performance, driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
- Builds strong professional relationships with client and client representatives.
- Provides advice and support to project team in the administration of the risk process, particularly with respect to the risks to achievement of key objectives and the escalation of risks.
- Facilitations and delivery of risk workshops.
- Works with Project Manager to recognise opportunities and mitigations to minimise risk exposure.
- Responsible for supporting the risk management performance on their assigned commissions.
- Effective implementation of risk frameworks on assigned commissions.
- Accountable for ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, owners appointed and that project plans are updated and monitored.
- Supports the delivery of project quantitative risk analysis (cost and time).
- Delivers monthly risk reports, externally to client and internally to project team, contributing on the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle.
- Ensures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace control centre, client requirements and prevailing legislation.
- Actively engages in the integration of risk with PMO and planning disciplines.
- Supports more junior risk managers and other Project staff as required.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have:

- A relevant degree qualification or experience working in a similar role.
- Professional membership or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.

You’ll Also Have:

- Understanding of construction project lifecycle.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
