**WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER**:
We are looking for a Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) for Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, with some additional administrative and financial supervision in Costa Rica and Panama. The DFO works in close collaboration with global, regional and local teams, TNC’s senior management, and partner organizations.
We are looking for an authentic, empathetic, and adaptive leader able to demonstrate an approach of actively listen and appropriately respond to the needs of their employees so they can be productive and engaged. TNC’s leadership models is based on a bottom-up model in which leaders empower employees at different levels of the organization and make sure they have the right tools to succeed. Is responsible for the operational and administrative work of Colombia, Perú and Ecuador Program, aiming to guarantee complying with local laws, administrative support, effective processes and great client service to staff and stakeholders.

**Responsibilities & Scope**:

- Follow our Code of Conduct and demonstrate consistently our Values.
- Lead a large team in the three countries, including training, professional development, establishing clear directions, setting “stretch” objectives, and overseeing the execution of day-to-day work;
- Work seamlessly with HR support to deliver a full program of HR services, including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, compensation, employee relations, HR transactions, terminations, etc. Maintaining confidentiality of frequently sensitive and emotionally-charged information;
- Make strategic decisions; decisions made may have program-wide impact and may bind the organization financially or legally
- Review and monitor income statement and balance sheet items (including pledges) at month and year end;
- Provide financial support in ad-hoc structures, deals and special projects related to financial or non-financial mechanisms for conservation;
