Your Role

As a Gensler Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will provide support to the Regional Human Resources organization on all HR related issues, including new hires, orientation, performance management, employee relations, and terminations, as well as special projects. This position will report into the Regional Human Resources Director to develop and execute HR programs and support, and locally to the Office Director.

What You Will Do- Provide HR consulting and support to our Colombia operations- Under the guidance of the HR Director, act as a coach/counsel to team members and managers regularly in highly sensitive, confidential or complex situations- Administer, monitor, coordinate, maintain and ensure compliance with areas that may include affirmative action, anti-discrimination, health and safety programs as well as all federal and state laws and regulations- Assist in developing human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing data analytics and recommending courses of action- Manage and enhance the new hire experience and culture engagement activities- Conduct or participate in employee relations counseling and exit interviews- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed- Lead or participate on project teams to develop and execute new policies, programs or tools within the company- Serve as the local point of contact for Regional HR initiatives and guidelines- Other HR activities and duties that pertain to the role

Your Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or related field- 7 years of experience as an HR Generalist, compliance or employee relations related experience- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)- Experience in HR Operations, Center of Excellence or HR Shared Services, and policies/procedures- Workday experienced strongly preferred- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately- Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with ability to produce timely, high-quality deliverables- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Demonstrable strategic thinking, influencing, and decision-making skills- Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
