The Brand Manager role is tasked with growing our brands, managing our content, and launching our artistic projects. See specific objectives below.

CORE OBJECTIVES

Content Creation and Management

Help create, launch, and grow a podcast. The podcast is your baby, and you will manage production, guests, and marketing. The podcast will be the engine that feeds our content, posting to YouTube, our blog, and social media, including translated versions into Spanish. You will also manage the person who does the audio and video production.

Marketing/Publicity Campaigns and Launches

We will be releasing numerous works of fiction (short stories, novellas, and novels) as well as cortometrajes. You will be in charge of helping create and execute launch and marketing plans.

This would include publicity efforts such as press releases and pitching blogs, podcasts, and (when relevant) traditional media.

Brand Growth and Management

Help develop long-term brand strategy to grow and manage our brands, including brand assets such as the website, social assets, and social media posts. (You may also work on paid ad campaigns and SEO research, but you do not need to be an expert in either of these areas.)

Community Growth and Management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Organized and Self-Motivated. There will be many different projects, and you will be in charge of prioritizing and managing them. You will have project software to help you.
Graphic Design. You will have Canva to produce graphics.
Online Software (many types). You must be comfortable with cloud-based (online) software such as Google Drive, Social Media, and others. We are a VIRTUAL ORGANIZATION, and you should be able to quickly learn and adapt to different types of software. Previous experience with Wordpress will be valued.
Content Creation. The ability to create and edit content for multiple platforms (social, blog, YouTube/Podcast descriptions) in both English and Spanish is essential.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Work Format. Working hours are East Coast (ET U.S.). We will have a short virtual meeting most weekdays in the morning, then you will generally be on your own. We will communicate via project management software and WhatsApp messaging/calls.
Language. You must be fluid/native in Spanish and have advanced English, as we will be working in both languages. English levels will be tested during interviews.
Payment. Via PayPal only.
Salary. Somewhat negotiable depending on experience. Range USD $900-$1,000.
