**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain the CITRIX environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and maintain the Active Directory infrastructure, including user management, group policies, and security configurations.
- Oversee the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of VPN connections, ensuring secure and reliable remote access for users.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline the deployment and management of infrastructure components.
- Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and other issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies and participate in incident response activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud computing, infrastructure management, and DevOps methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to drive continuous improvement and optimize system performance.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing CITRIX environments, including Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory administration, including user management, group policies, and security configurations.
- Proficient in Windows server administration, including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and configuration management.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment, implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Citrix Certified Professional, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
