Misión del puesto

For the procurement team, we are looking for a professional who will be responsible for the end to end purchasing procedure. Planning, controlling and executing the supplier contracting process, developing the whole purchasing procedure including the negotiations and logistics operations for the purchase process with the quality, quantity, and delivery time.

Roles and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Duties- Leads negotiations of vendor contracts, sourcing and procurement for a variety of company departments to ensure consistency as well as satisfaction and success.- Facilitates collaborative and strong relationships with vendors.- Prepares contracts and other procurement documents using competitive sourcing strategies to deliver continuous cost performance and process improvement.- Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.- Evaluates vendors' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.- Identifies and conducts research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.- Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy.- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal/ Requests for Quote, performing cost analysis in support of proposals.- Prepares purchase orders to ensure that they are accurate and complete and sends copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.- Assesses financial risks of purchases.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or minimum 2 years’ experience with an ERP system.- Understanding of basic budget development and monitoring- Knowledge of procurement methods and procedures of a large-scale centralized purchasing function including buying, quality assurance, contract administration and contract law.

Education and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, finance, marketing or related.- Two years of international negotiation experience required.- Familiarity with one or more commodities such as packaging materials, services, supplies, finished goods.- Monitoring and controlling resources and overseeing the spending of money.- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.- Performs administrative activities in support of the purchasing function.- Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
