Field Service

**Role Summary**:
Provide technical support to the customer in rotary equipment (mechanical seals, sealing plans, centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, auxiliary systems, etc.).

Perform support and technical assistance in maintenance operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of mechanical seals, sealing plans and pumping equipment at customer's facilities according to technical standards and internal company protocols.

Support the sales department (new and aftermarket equipment), in everything that has to do with the development of technical-economic proposals to the market.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**: 1. Comply with the field service program updated and in line with the needs of customers.
- Correct elaboration of service time reports considering the information requested in the formats to avoid reprocessing.
- Elaboration of service reports within the requirements established in the format.
- sending of the respective daily reports and field service time records to the person in charge of registering in the system and feeding the folders.
- Elaboration of the Trouble Report with the information required in the formats and attaching the evidences that facilitate a failure analysis in the future.
- Participation in the investigations of failure causes in order to identify the real responsibility of the failures, in order to assume only the guarantees that correspond to Flowserve.
- Development of customer satisfaction surveys each time a service is provided.
- Planning of work before starting trips in the area of technical information enlistment, elaboration of procedures, work safety analysis, equipment and tools enlistment.
- Provide technical support to other areas of the company (sales, purchasing, production, quality, project management, finance, commercial operations, etc.) and to our customers when required in any technical question.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary teams for the development of internal improvement projects that seek improvements in product development, energy efficiency, operational and maintenance cost reduction.
- Comply with the parameters established by the company's Integrated Management System.
- Participate in cost reduction projects and improvements to seals and sealing plans and propose changes to the engineering and quality department for validation and implementation according to feedback from the teams operating in the field.
- Take care of their health and provide clear, truthful and complete information about their health status.
- Comply with the established rules, regulations, instructions and policies of the Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Management System, in addition to the procedures of the Integrated Management System.
- Inform their superiors or the HSEQ Coordinator about hazardous environmental conditions or unsafe actions in the workplace; submit suggestions for prevention, control and correction of risk factors (reports of unsafe acts and conditions).
- Participate in training activities and occupational health and safety promotion and prevention activities defined in the annual work plan of the safety, occupational health and environment system.
- Participate and contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives of the Safety and Health Management System.
- To participate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
- Be informed about the risk factors of their occupation and work position, the effects derived from exposure and the necessary preventive and protective measures.
- Actively participate in the support groups for the safety, occupational health and environmental management system that are formed in FLOWSERVE COLOMBIA, such as: Joint Committee for Safety and Health at Work and Emergency Brigades of the company.
- Freely elect their representatives to the Joint Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (COPASST). (Resolution 2013 of 1986).
- Inform the Committee about risk situations that arise and express their suggestions for the improvement of occupational health conditions in the Company. (Resolution 2013 of 1986).
- Use the Personal Protection elements that the company has assigned to him/her and maintain them properly, giving them the due use.
- Participate in the investigation of incidents and accidents at work, where the worker is involved.
- Stop any activity that is considered unsafe for the personnel that performs it or exposed personnel.
- Activate the emergency alarm when an emergency arises.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**: - Mechanical / Industrial Engineer or related careers.
- With experience of more than 5 years in similar positions or functions
- Basic knowledge of electric motors and internal combustion, soft starters, frequency variators and instrumentation.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
