**About VIPA**

VIPA is a European multinational company, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a leading position in the global recycling and recovered material trading sectors. As our business in Latin America is expanding, we wish to grow our team in the Panama-area office, and therefore we are looking for a specialized Freight Procurement Associate, who can be based anywhere in Central or South America.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Participate in logistics rates and terms negotiations
- Be engaged in the searches of new potential logistics and transportation vendors within the area of responsibility
- Communicate with colleagues and logistics partners in Latin America
- Be in charge of respective data entry and electronic document management
- Collaborate with other departments of the company in order to ensure customer satisfaction

**Qualifications & Competencies**
- Fluency in Spanish & English
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Customer-centric approach
- Attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines
