**For Current Gilead Employees and Contractors:
**Job Description**:**This position will be responsible for setting up and executing the marketing strategy that drives the achievement of the HIV portfolio objectives, including the launch and growth of block-buster products.**

**Essential Duties & Job Functions**:

- **Lead the development and execution of brand plans in close collaboration with cross-functional team**
- **Develop and Implements product promotional communication strategy for physician promotions ensuring alignment with the overall global brand strategy.**
- **Exhibit excellent understanding of the market, developed via market research, local and international networking, advisory boards and Strong external network in the health ecosystem.**
- **Demonstrates solid innovative and customer centric mindset to establish and execute the strategy and tactics to drive differentiation of HIV-Gilead’s products with traditional and non-traditional marketing channels and with holistic support programs that engage multiple actors: HCPs, Payors, Medical societies, Patients.**
- **Work collaboratively with the Market Access, Medical and Government Affairs, to look at the development and implementation of market access plans, and product value proposition for Colombia, at national level (PBS) and HMOs level (EPS/IPS), guaranteeing timely listing.**
- **Work with the Medical department to land a holistic therapeutic area strategy that position Gilead as a solid partner to the medical and payors community.**
- **Maintain an in depth understanding of HIV therapeutic area, products and markets as well as healthcare system processes including reimbursement.**
- **Monitors, analyzes, and reports on industry trends (marketing & pharma) and competitive practices**
- **Exemplary teamwork cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Market Research, Public Affairs, and Field Teams**
- **Effectively manages multiple agency partners to produce deliverables on strategy, within timelines, and budget, while also measuring results.**
- **Analyses complex problems and provides logical recommendations; leads any required action planning.**
- **Provides strategic input and co-lead execution on key planning team activities such as: conventions, sales meetings, sales training and medical education programs.**
- **Has responsibility for managing an assigned marketing budget and project timelines.**
- **Ensures that all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.**
- **Sets a positive example for others to follow, shares own expert knowledge, models standards of performance, offers guidance and support.**
- **Responsible for executing the Brand Business Plan.**
- **Sets priorities in circumstances of continued complexity and conflicting requirements.**
- **Establishes strong working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders regionally and nationally**
- **Successful development of external relationships leading to brand advocacy is required.**

**Competencies / Skills / Knowledge**:

- **Proven project management skills including timeline and budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, plan execution and performance management**
- **Must possess the ability to maintain, develop, and utilize a level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Gilead products**
- **Must be curious and possess an aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving**
- **Must be able to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environment**
- **Previous experience in market access, sales and/or marketing research is a plus.**
- **In-depth knowledge and experience in franchise-specific market is preferred.**
- **Must have the ability to conduct analysis and use complex analytical tools.**
- **Must have a demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.**
- **Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute development strategy.**
- **Innovative and demonstrate a passion to win thru differentiated market strategies**
- **Strong presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making is required.**
- **Extensive relevant experience in pharma or biotech marketing and product management.**
- **Launching products is a must.**
- **Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related fields required.**
- **Expertise on marketing, strategy, sales and commercial policies and practices**
- **Demonstrated experience on creating holistic customer engagement
