Senior Accounting Business Partner

We are seeking a professional in Public Accounting, with a valid professional license, responsible for financial, accounting, and tax processes, providing support to countries in Colombia and the Southern Zone. This role will directly support the Regional CFO in strategic decision-making, tax planning, and risk management, while also contributing to regional financial efficiency and both local and corporate regulatory compliance.

On a typical day, you will be expected to:

- Oversee and manage accounting operations including fixed assets, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions across Colombia and other Southern Zone Countries.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, US GAAP, and tax regulations in all jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and review financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- Lead and review and approve the accounts reconciliation
- Prepare, certify, and sign financial statements.
- Support external audits and internal control processes.
- Advise management on financial and tax planning.
- Prevent legal and financial risks through proper documentation and reporting.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

- Professional degree in Public Accounting with CPA or CIA certification.
- Minimum of 3 years in financial areas and accounting teams with strong tax experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP
- Good analytical thinking and attention to detail, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively across departments and Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
