The Senior Consultant will be part of the team managing sales and business development activities across Control Risks’ key accounts and growth initiatives in the Andean Region Market, with an emphasis on our clients in Colombia. The goal of the position is to rapidly grow sales in this critical and expanding market. The position includes responsibility for working with large domestic and multinational corporate clients and law firms. The Senior Consultant will be a manager of key accounts as well as a significant prospector/business developer pursuing new and strategic relationships. The Director will be a key point person coordinating local marketing activity and partner relationships, working closely with Control Risks’ business leaders in the Andean region.

**Business development** and brand building**
- Play an integral role in promoting, building and developing Control Risks’ portfolio of clients in the Andean region.
- Actively build and enhance Control Risks’ brand.
- Develop senior consultative relationships with key clients in the Andean Region markets (across various sectors including energy, mining, infrastructure and manufacturing).
- Collaborate with all Control Risks business units to identify relationships and sales prospects of relevance across all Control Risks service lines.
- Record all sales activity in the CRM database and continuously build a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals with assumed conversion rates.
- Engage in marketing campaigns and events as required, including identifying and participating in key events.
- Maintain and build knowledge of industry trends and new tools relevant to growing the business in the Region and beyond.
- Become a trusted advisor by demonstrating a high level of partnership and commitment to client success.
- Serve as a client account manager for selected/assigned accounts. Promote the growth of all of Control Risks services.
- Coordinate and manage effective client engagement across the market and ensure alignment with account-specific geo-market plans. Support internal leadership to engage with clients and help ensure outbound sales (to Control Risks worldwide) meet the financial targets for the market.
- Collaborate with Marketing and service line teams to drive and support new global product and service line launches in the geo-market and ensure that regional and global marketing activities are leveraged.

**Account management and market growth activities**
- Serve as a client account manager for selected/assigned accounts. Promote the growth of all of Control Risks services.
- Coordinate and manage effective client engagement across the market and ensure alignment with account-specific geo-market plans. Support internal leadership to engage with clients and help ensure outbound sales (to Control Risks worldwide) meet the financial targets for the market.
- Collaborate with Marketing and service line teams to drive and support new global product and service line launches in the geo-market and ensure that regional and global marketing activities are leveraged.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Excellent English and Spanish language skills—written and spoken.
- Experience selling or delivering professional services in a consulting environment, ideally in international business risk consulting.
- Proven business development skills and experience; significant experience identifying and securing new clients (hunting) and solid track record of increasing revenue within current/active client accounts (farming).
- Experience and clear understanding of client relationship management responsibilities.
- Understanding of enterprise risk management processes.
- Thorough understanding of compliance, regulatory and reputational risks.
- Knowledge of a broad range of regulations that impact our clients: anti-corruption and anti-trust rules and regulations, export controls and sanctions, and others.
- Prior experience in service delivery or business development of security consulting, crisis management or security services.
- Proven leadership experience and the understanding of how to manage complex engagements in challenging jurisdictions.
- Government or private sector experience in more than one country preferred
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior decision makers and top corporate management in a variety of situations.
- Proven strong commercial acumen and understanding of developing value propositions.
- As part of a dynamic and flexible organization, proven ability to respond to unexpected developments quickly and willingness to take on tasks that fall outside your core competence.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and/or regulatory inquiries and investigations.
- Ability to build highly effective client relationships at a senior level.
