Establish and implement Shared Services, beginning with North and South American operations. Provide thought leadership on structure, implementation, and continuous improvement on processes.
Enforcing global standards across all regions for processes that will initially include Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Fixed Assets. Further consideration will be given to including other financial process like Accounts Payable, General Accounting, and non-financial processes like Procurement in the Shared Services service portfolio.
Leading the standardization of in-scope processes as part of the initial stand-up of Shared Services.
Working directly with internal customers, business partners, and cross functional teams for the in-scope Shared Services functions relating to department goals and performance, resource requirements, and day to day activities.
Coordinating directly with leadership and customers, both internal and external, when defining expected outcomes, dealing with problem identification, resolution, and corrective action.
Continually look at ways to improve process effectiveness and efficiency, while maintaining anticipated results.
Leading the development of work plans, approaches, and mobilization efforts for each initiative work stream.
Ensuring a strong internal controls environment and compliance with all policies and procedures required to produce complete and accurate financial results impacted by work teams.
Establishing and maintaining daily productivity and processing metrics that will be used to manage workload, as well as provide internal and external operational results, insights, and analytics in line with KPIs and SLA requirements.
Providing input relating to working capital forecasts and recapping outcomes and variances
Encouraging the development of associates, nurturing continued innovative thinking, process improvement, and self-development.
