**POSITION OVERVIEW**:

- The client is looking to expand their teams adding well trained, highly professional, and committed professionals used to work under an Agile methodology. A key position within this team is the senior quality assurance engineer, this person will have to collaborate with the business understanding the solution and the requirements as well as the development team aiming to ensure the quality identifying and documenting bugs. As part of the development SDLC implemented in the client this person will create and execute regression, smoke and ad-hoc testing on the different releases to ensure the solutions performs as expected. Although there is a focus on testing backend services there will be web and mobile testing included to ensure the ecosystem is working in a consistent way. We are looking for a real team player, willing to collaborate with all the team members, external squads, client´s stakeholders, and the technical teams supporting the infrastructure. We need a curious and proactive person always willing to continue growing and learning the latest QA methodologies and techniques.**TECHNOLOGY STACK**:

- C#,.NET Core & previous frameworks, Cosmos Database, MS SQL, Azure services, Azure DevOps, Jira.**Responsibilities**
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Validate user stories acceptance criteria and provide suggestion
- Discuss and validate requirements with the business and the development team
- Create, document and execute test cases for the requirements
- Define, document and execute acceptance, regression and smoke test related to the different releases
- Create reports of the testing activities
- Support the production release process
- Capable of perform simple SQL queries to obtain and validate test results
- Capable of mocking data when required
- Collaborate with QA Automation team when required

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years of testing experience
- 5+ years of experience testing backend (API, SOAP) services
- Experience using testing tracking tools (TestRail or similar)
- Experience using Postman
- Knowledge of industry best coding practices
- Understanding of SQL queries
- Team player
- Willing to learn new technologies and keep growing
- Great spoken and written English

**Nice to have**
- QA Automation experience
- Experience in the travel industry
- Experience performing Security and/or performance testing
- Experience testing microservices
