**The Role**
The role reports directly to the Senior Business Administrator, North America, and will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of key business transactions.
As Finance Administrator, your primary role will be to assist in the smooth administration of AR and AP processes in North America, in particular, maintenance of the general ledger through accurate and timely posting of transactions and data entry.
There will also be plentiful opportunities to provide additional support to the Senior Business Administrator for the North America region, and the North America Head of Finance in respect of their wider finance responsibilities including operations throughout LATAM, therefore we require someone who is focused, organized and efficient. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is ambitious, proactive and willing to learn. We provide extensive technical training and support.
- Primary responsibilities_ include:

- Accounts Payable transactional posting, including ensuring appropriate purchase approvals are obtained prior to payment;
- Reviewing and processing payment of online and manual expense claims;
- Accounts Receivable transactional posting, including raising and posting of invoices, with appropriate supporting documents as required (such as expense receipts) in accordance with client requirements;
- Compliance support including reviewing and approving timesheets each week
- Perform other accounting and data-entry duties, as needed.
- Support areas include: _
- Assisting the Senior Business Administrator with the production of the US and Canada month end balance sheet reconciliation file and back up schedules; and
- Assisting the Senior Business Administrator’s day-to-day responsibilities during busy periods or providing annual leave cover.
- Cash monitoring including credit control, collection and posting, and potentially producing cash flow forecasts;
- Dealing with queries from internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
Applicants should:

- Have strong communications skills, including at least some spoken and written English.
- Be willing and able to work onsite in our Bogota office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Have experience of 0-2 years in a similar finance function role or internship, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Have some training in the field of accounting and finance, preferably a business or accounting degree from an accredited university
- Have excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Be highly coachable and trainable with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new skills and tasks
- Be able to effectively priorities and meet deadlines
- Have strong technical skills including at least some professional or academic experience with MS Excel, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems. Previous experience of Agresso or another ERP system would be an advantage but is not required.
