The SEO and VSEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to increase the visibility and ranking of our website and video content on major search engines. This role requires a deep understanding of white-hat SEO techniques and a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in traffic and search rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

- **SEO and VSEO Strategy Development**: Develop comprehensive SEO strategies that encompass keyword research, website optimization, content creation, link building, and VSEO to enhance our online visibility.
- **Implementation**: Hands-on implementation of SEO tactics, including on-page optimization, meta-tag creation, link development, and the use of SEO tools to analyze performance.
- **Content Strategy**:Work closely with the content team to ensure all content is optimized for search, including the use of appropriate keywords, content structure, tagging, and metadata for video content.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:Monitor and report on the performance of SEO and VSEO efforts, using Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, and other relevant platforms to track progress and refine strategies.
- **Compliance and Best Practices**: Ensure all SEO activities adhere to industry best practices and avoid black-hat techniques, focusing on sustainable, long-term growth in rankings and authority.
- **Collaboration and Education**: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to integrate SEO with overall marketing objectives. Provide ongoing education and insight into SEO best practices and changes in algorithms to the Buzops team.

**Qualifications**:

- **Demonstrated Expertise in SEO and VSEO**: Proven track record with a portfolio showcasing top-page rankings and substantial growth in web traffic. Experience in enhancing visibility and engagement through both traditional SEO and Video SEO is essential.
- **Proficiency with SEO Tools and Platforms**: Advanced knowledge of leading SEO software such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Analytics. Ability to utilize these tools to glean insights and drive strategic decisions.
- **Advanced Language Skills**: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, at a C1 or C2 proficiency level, as certified by a recognized language assessment.
- **Deep Understanding of SEO Mechanics**: Expertise in both on-page and off-page SEO tactics, and a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing SERP rankings.
- **Analytics and Data Interpretation**: Strong capabilities in analyzing and interpreting data to shape SEO strategies, assess performance, and deliver insightful reporting.
- **Problem-Solving and Adaptability**: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt strategies in response to analytics insights and evolving industry trends.
- **Communication Excellence**: Effective at communicating complex SEO concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels of technical proficiency.
- **Ethical SEO Practices**: Dedicated to upholding the highest standards of SEO ethics, focusing on compliance and long-term sustainability without resorting to manipulative tactics.
- **Educational Background**: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising.
