**Requisitos**:
**Acerca del proyecto**

At Pickups we’re about building community in an environment that fosters learning and growth while having fun. We are an on demand delivery service and we’re looking for talent that celebrates our mission of helping move the world forward by building the logistics engine of the future.

**Responsabilidades**
- Leading a team of talented software engineers as they continue to grow our platforms.
- Report directly to the CTO, himself a seasoned Django developer,
- Guiding Pickups through backend challenges during our growth phase as we approach Series A investment.
- **️ ¿Quién eres?**:

- 5+ years of experience in a software development role.
- 2+ years in a lead/manager role
- Ability to understand basic NodeJS and SQL and strong experience with Python and Django, ideally with Django Rest Framework.
- Knowledge of supporting mobile clients from using development frameworks and a REST API.
- Gracefully dealing with poorly performing query plans by hand tuning SQL or introducing efficient indexes.
- Basic knowledge of AWS infrastructure, like RDS, SNS, and EC2.
- Ability to get your hands dirty and code
- A positive and proactive personality—we’re a close-knit team and our collaboration is how we win.
- Can comfortably speak and write technical English at a B2 level or higher.
