Business Analyst

We are hiring a business analyst to join our project team. You will head up the business analysts function of the business and report directly to the CEO. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Our Colombia office is in the center of Medellin, where we have 10+ team members you will work in the same office with.

We are a Saas software company that sells marketing services to customers in the US. We have offices in Colombia, Vietnam and the US. We have grown to a size where we need processes and procedures documented - through discussions with team members and reviewing our current documentation. Long term this role involves maintaining our process documents to look for improvements or adjust as changes occur.

You would need to have some familiarity with web or tech based systems as we are fairly tech focused. Also you would need to work closely with our head of technology to be able to communicate and understand our technological setup and convey needs.

**Business Analyst Responsibilities**:

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Working closely with operational team members, technicians, and managerial staff.
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
- Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

**Business Analyst Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- High level of written and verbal communication in English
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills.

Pay: $6,000,000 - $8,000,000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Medellín, Antioquia: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
