Senior Program Manager, Engagement

he Program Management Office at ViX is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team

The PMO’s responsibility is to work across the product and technology organization to deliver digital experiences that empower and entertain our users. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager with strong technical skills, experience in agile methodologies, and a track record of motivating teams to deeper levels of agility and self-organization to lead Customer Engagement projects.

ABOUT YOU:
Great program managers understand Agile best practices and understand how to implement and drive processes that enable high quality, predictable, and efficient delivery for our video streaming offerings.

You understand that transparency and visibility are key to establishing trust and alignment and that program managers need to be comfortable radiating information in different ways and formats. You are relentless about tracking details.

You are a great team player, working cross-functionally to create relationships based on mutual respect, and you are capable of negotiating tradeoffs and compromises among stakeholders.

You will execute with confidence and lead by example, working to create an environment where every team member is able to live up to their full potential.

You can get your hands dirty and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced software development organization.

YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Facilitation: Facilitate regular squad meetings with clear agendas and action items. Ensure that the appropriate cross-functional stakeholders are engaged.-
- Cross-Functional Program Management: Coordinate across teams to define, prioritize, and track customer engagement features and projects.-
- Product Operations: Fully understand our Agile SDLC and coach squad leaders and product managers in how to efficiently move work through the process.-
- Relentless Improvement: Run retrospectives, distill those findings into actionable improvements, and work across the PMO to improve flow and strengthen our organization. Proactively recommend and execute cross-functional improvements.-
- Facilitate continuous exploration: Work within your squads to create opportunities for deeper exploration of customer needs. Track the status of active experiments and ensure that these ideas are synthesized into clear requirements to feed the Agile development process.-
- Delivery Planning: Lead your teams through the quarterly planning process, coordinating feature development and tracking releases across multiple Agile teams.-
- Impediment Removal: -Actively identify and remove impediments that may impact velocity or deliverables.YOU HAVE:
- 5+ years experience as a program manager for software projects, with streaming experience highly recommended.-
- Experience managing competing priorities, negotiating compromises, and interfacing between a technical team and business partners.-
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, with demonstrated success driving teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency. CSM-required and an advanced-level Agile certification highly desired.-
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and implement ideas in a fast-paced creative environment.-
