**About the Role**
You'll be instrumental in developing and optimizing software solutions that analyze high-frequency industrial time series data. You'll work on everything from data ingestion and processing to implementing advanced machine learning models for anomaly detection and state classification. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency for our client.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage data pipelines (ETL) for large, high-frequency data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through adherence to PEP 8 guidelines and the use of linters and formatters.
- Continuously research and integrate new technologies and methodologies to improve data analysis capabilities.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of professional experience in software development or data science with a strong emphasis on Python.
- Demonstrable projects or practical experience analyzing industrial time series data is required.

**Technical Skills**
- **Python Programming**:

- Deep proficiency with Python 3.x.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles (classes, inheritance, interfaces).
- Experience with performance optimization techniques (profiling, caching, parallelization, vectorized NumPy/Pandas operations).
- Commitment to writing clean, consistent code following PEP 8; familiarity with linters (flake8, pylint) and formatters (black).
- **Time Series Analysis & Machine Learning**:

- Strong grounding in classical time series techniques (e.g., autocorrelation, Fourier transforms, rolling windows).
- Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, tsfresh, or pyts.
- Expertise in anomaly detection and state classification techniques (e.g., Isolation Forest, Hidden Markov Models (HMM), Long Short-Term Memory networks (LSTM)).
- **Data Processing & Integration**:

- Proven ability to handle large, high-frequency datasets.
- Experience building data pipelines (ETL), data wrangling, and preprocessing.
- _Optional but a plus:_ Database skills (SQL/NoSQL) and familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT).
