**Purpose of the role**:
The IT infrastructure Architect role is to implement and maintain the high-level design plan for the overall logical and
technical IT architecture (Network, Cloud & on-premise). This individual will provide technical leadership and
consulting across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. The IT Architect
Engineer will gain organizational commitment for all high-level infrastructure plans and initiate and participate in
projects to evaluate technologies and methods for implementing these plans.

**Job role and responsibilities**:

- Scope:

- The IT infrastructure Architect will work closely with the NCI project & service delivery area on the DDC

(Colombia and Philippines)
- The services will be provided to worldwide Inchcape markets.
- Will support strategic infrastructure plan, according to the Enterprise strategy designed by the global IT

architect.
- Strategy & Planning
- Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company’s existing IT architecture/infrastructure, and

technology portfolio.
- Document, communicate, and enforce a technology standards policy.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and

recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
- Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on

findings and make recommendations for improvement.
- Operational Management:

- Collaborate with end users and senior management to define business requirements for complex systems

development and gain buy-in for all infrastructure plans.
- Review new and existing IT projects, systems design, and procurement/outsourcing plans for compliance

with IT standards and architectural plans.
- Formal Education & Certification:

- Recently
- graduated degree or college diploma in the field of computer science
- Knowledge in Cloud computing
- Knowledge in virtualization tools

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Knowledge and Experience
- Basic knowledge about infrastructure design and operational.
- Basic knowledge of current infrastructure technologies.
- Willing to learn technical architectural principles and designs to all levels of management.
- Technology:

- Basic system administration (Linux and Windows)
- Basic knowledge about the Azure and AWS services, licenses and price.
- Knowledge about networking technologies (LAN, WAN, SDWAN)
- Personal Attributes
- Willing to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to present ideas in a user-friendly

language.
- Able to conduct research into issues and products as required, and document outcomes.
- Work Conditions
- Available to work in different time zones.
- Some afterhours work will be required to join online meetings with global team members.
