Purpose_**
The GWMS Digital Client Services (DCS) value stream is undertaking a major initiative to modernize the client/account onboarding and servicing platform for Scotia Wealth Management. The group consists of 5 agile teams working closely together to deliver, support, and maintain the direct client onboarding system known as WealthOne.
**_Accountabilities _**:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- The role involves working with key business stakeholders, technical teams, regulatory and compliance groups, and senior leadership.
- The role is a hybrid role with remote activities and onsite work based out of Bogota, Colombia and can involve occasional evening/weekend support activities.
- The Senior Developer should be a self-starter and able to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ensure that system architectures are functional, robust, and scalable within the context of enterprise standards.
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
- Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

**Education / Experience / Other Information**
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- 4-7 years experience required.
- Development experience in PEGA 7.X, 8.x is required. (or ability to learn, experience in Java).
- Familiarity with using monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) a plus.
- SQL experience a plus
- Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end.
- Hands on experience in following the iterative and Agile SDLC
