Senior Network Engineer

We invite a **Senior Network Engineer **to be part of our **remote **team.

This professional will play a pivotal role in not just contributing but also guiding less experienced engineers. By consistently interacting with the technical leadership of the organization, the Senior Network Engineer will spearhead complex and loosely defined projects and occasionally assume team leadership roles depending on the ongoing projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spearheading complex and loosely defined projects
- Guiding less experienced engineers
- Regular interaction with technical leadership within the organization
- Overseeing the technical design of multiple projects from start to finish
- Participation in engineering community through blog posts, open-source contributions, tech talks, etc
- Management of network services including LAN, WAN, and telecommunication systems
- Ensuring timely and precise communication to internal customers or partner organizations affected by change activity
- Conducting in-depth reviews of data and issues to rapidly uncover root causes of problems
- Proposing short-term and long-term solutions to complex problems
- Proactively identifying issues with the quality and performance of products, services, solutions or processes and suggesting improvements

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in configuring enterprise or service provider-grade network hardware
- Proficiency in configuring, operating, and automating cloud IaaS networks such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Intermediate to advanced skills in routing protocols like OSPF, MPBGP, ISIS, MPLS
- Comprehension of physical and virtual network technologies and their interoperability
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of models showcasing network state and for configuration such as SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, Netconf, Restconf, gRPC
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to explain intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in change management and incident management (ITSM)
- Knowledge in network architecture, network monitoring, and network security
- Strong inclination towards teamwork and a proven self-motivated attitude
- Proficiency in English with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

NICE TO HAVE
- Relevant certification such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, AWS Professional, AWS Network Specialty
- Experience with wireless networking
- Familiarity with Splunk and Datadog tools
- Awareness of emerging technology trends and best practices that could benefit the organization
