**JOB TITLE**:Data Engineer **LOCATION**:Medellín - Colombia **TYPE**:Full-Time **SCHEDULE**:Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote per week) **DESCRIPTION**:The Data Engineer III will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on SQL development for automation and detailed analysis, cloud computing in AWS, and data integration development in Python. Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), English language skills, and a goal-oriented mindset are essential. Optional skills include leadership, machine learning, and expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs). **Qualifications**: **Required**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. - Proficiency in SQL for development, automation, and detailed analysis. - Experience with AWS cloud computing. - Strong Python programming skills for data integration and automation. - Experience with CI/CD tools and practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. - Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. - Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals effectively. **Preferred**: - Experience in a leadership or mentoring role. - Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools. - Advanced degree in a related field.
