**About the Role**

Data Scientists are key contributors to our data-driven decision-making processes at Wazoku. They are responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to support business goals and drive strategic decisions. Data Scientists are proficient in data analysis techniques and tools, and they can independently lead complex projects that involve cross-functional teams. Their work impacts multiple facets of the business, including product development, marketing, and customer experience.

A Data Scientist works closely with other data professionals, engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders throughout the data lifecycle. As a Data Scientist, you should be a collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement web scraping solutions to collect data from diverse online sources.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
- Design, train, and optimize large language models for various NLP tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science, web scraping, and NLP technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience with web scraping using tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium
- Proficiency in Python and data manipulation libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
- Hands-on experience with large language models, such as GPT, BERT, or similar
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-experts

Salary range $6,000,000 - $8,000,000 COP monthly depending on experience
