The Product Owner will serve as a crucial bridge between our business objectives and technological capabilities. **Position Title: Mid+ to Senior Product Owner**
**Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia.**
**What you will be doing**:
- Strategic Product Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing product features and capabilities in alignment with business goals.- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, effectively communicating business needs and ensuring alignment with product objectives.- Backlog Management: Own the product backlog, prioritizing based on value, complexity, and strategic importance, ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team.- User Experience Advocacy: Incorporate user feedback into product development to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.- Market Analysis: Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, adapting product strategy as necessary.- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development efforts.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product ownership role, with a focus on software or technology products.- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.- Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.- An engineering background is highly desirable.- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), user story mapping, and prioritization frameworks.- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI, sales, and marketing.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
