As we approach launch, the focus is on creating an amazing product that resonates, engages and ignites our audiences. **Key Responsibilities**: **Develop Robust Backend Systems**:Create and maintain server-side logic to ensure efficient operation of the Flappie cat door system. This includes developing APIs and services for functionality such as user registration, device management, and data synchronization. **Database Management and Optimization**:Design, implement, and maintain database systems. Ensure optimal performance for handling high volumes of data, including multimedia files like videos and images from the cat door's camera. **Cloud Services Management**:Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, primarily focusing on AWS. This includes setting up, scaling, and securing cloud resources. **Real-time Communication**:Develop and maintain a WebSocket server for real-time communication between the cat door, mobile app, and backend system, ensuring low latency and high reliability. **System Scalability and Reliability**:Design the backend architecture for scalability to support an increasing number of users and devices. Implement strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and efficient load balancing. **Security Implementation**:Ensure the security of the backend systems, protecting against unauthorized access and safeguarding user data, especially considering the IoT nature of the product. **Monitoring and Maintenance**:Continuously monitor system performance, conduct regular system audits, and implement improvements and optimizations. 9. **Documentation and Best Practices**:Create comprehensive documentation for the backend systems and contribute to the development of best practices within the team. 10. **Troubleshooting and Problem Solving**:Proactively identify and address system issues and inefficiencies.
