**Perfaware is looking to hire a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Engineer to join our digital commerce development team. The digital commerce team is at the center of the company’s business transformation efforts.**

**As a software engineer, you will be responsible for the design, code development, and testing of Salesforce Commerce Cloud back-end functionality for our clients with a team of Product Owners, Designers, Architects, and Engineers.**
*RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement customizations to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud system by writing high-quality, testable, and compliant code using software development best practices..
- Work closely with business analysts and product management to design and develop solutions using SFCC or external tools and systems
- Design and develop proof of concept software solutions using cutting edge versions or technologies to showcase solution approach
- Configure out of box capabilities and features on the SFCC software platform
- Triage issues reported during testing or discovered in Production and fix defects to eCommerce systems
- Optimize code and tune queries to ensure eCommerce system can scale and is highly performant
- Stay current on the development standards, practices and technologies as well as SFCC releases
- Support Testing and Post-production activities
- Collaborate with senior software engineers and architects on technical decisions.
- Communicate technical dependencies, blockers, and risks to project stakeholders and management.
- Estimate development tasks during discovery, scoping, planning, and development stages

*QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 - 4 years professional software development experience within SFCC
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team orientation skills.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proficient in managing the administration of the platform using Business Manager
- Current developer certification in Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C / Demandware
- Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce's suite of products across all SDLC phases.
- Hands-on in the backend code of SFCC/SFRA
- Working knowledge of version control systems and Cloud Platforms (Git, JIRA, Confluence, Git Hub, Bit Bucket, Gulp, Jenkins).
- Expertise with troubleshooting within the Salesforce environment (Debug Logs, Flow Errors, CPU Limits, etc.)
- Performs all administrative options/tasks/interfaces available in Business Manager.
- Works with external vendors to set up feeds and processes for price and inventory on projects.

**Salary**: $10,000,000 - $15,000,000 per month
