**The Job**:
Your main goal is to ensure everyone in Koombea complies with health and safety laws. You will be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace (working at the office and at home).

You must have excellent attention to detail to identify risks, discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.

The objective is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Define the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Build Standard Operating Procedures for Safety and Health at work
- Comply with Human Resources policies and procedures
- Analyze and report work accidents
- Supervise compliance with the policy and standards established on safety and health at work by workers and create awareness about their responsibility and culture for the development of the System.
- Coordinate the execution of work plans of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Design, implement, maintain and continuously improve the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Lead and execute training plans in Occupational Health and Safety standards
- Verify the working conditions of the collaborators and ensure the minimum compliance with the safety requirements in the execution of their work
- Formulate hygiene and safety plans related to the promotion of healthcare at work
- Periodically review occupational health and safety plans
- Conduct the identification of risk factors and potential hazards
- Ensure strict compliance with the current Legal Standards for Safety and Health at Work established by the National Government
- Conduct onboarding to new staff
- Follow up with the ARL to the defined work plans
- Coordinate visits to Koombea with suppliers (ARL, Compensation Fund, EPS, Banks, Advisors)
- Review the design of the different communications regarding the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Establish motivational campaigns and dissemination of Standards and technical knowledge aimed at maintaining an active interest in all employees for Safety and Health at Work
- Follow up with the ARL on AT and EL cases
- Perform inspections (First Aid Kit, Locatives, Fire Extinguishers)
- Track campaigns defined by Human Resources
- Make the enrollments / withdrawals and risk changes in the ARL
- Make enrollments / withdrawals in the Compensation Fund
- Create requests for transcripts of licenses and medical leaves of absence

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Proven experience as safety manager (4+ years) l Must Have

- BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred l Must Have
- Advanced English level (B2, C1) l Nice to Have
