HSE Supervisor

China Three Gorges Latam , a leading renewable energy company, seeks a HSE Supervisor to implement, update, and monitor the Health and Safety Management System and Environment, Public and Social Safety within its organization facilities. Key job responsibilities Train internal and external staff in workplace regulations. Develop risk matrices applicable in the Health and Safety Management System and the Environment, Public and Social Safety. Develop safety protocols. Train personnel in risk measures applicable in the Health and Safety Management System and Environment, Public and Social Security in accordance with the risk matrix. Prepare risk matrices in accordance with the management system, including action plans. Develop programs and plans in accordance with the Health and Safety Management System and Environment, Public Safety. Develop training material in accordance with the management system. Prepare the budget of the area according to the needs of the security system with quotes, PAF, etc. Update occupational safety and health, public safety, environmental, and social procedures. Develop the community's social programs, their monitoring and compliance. Keep track of the hazardous waste warehouse and its maintenance. Keep track of manifests generated by RP, RME. Conduct weekly safety briefings with contractor and internal staff. Review and implement the appropriate signage in the workplace in accordance with the STPS regulations. Conduct daily tours of the facility and document findings and work plan. Conduct drills in accordance with established/semi-annual work plans and programs. Participate in brigades and training. Assist in PPE Warehouse Management. Coordinate with contractors and EHS to carry out training activities, delivery of forms. Perform and participate in the internal and external audits of the company, in addition to closing the findings and sending the report requested by the banks. Enforce the health and safety policy. Ensure that security measures are carried out in the organization. Support in the coordination of activities in the PPE warehouse area. Coordinate the activities of the quartermaster staff. Check fire alarm systems and devices that are in operation. Check Fire Smoke Detectors. Supervise the asset security area that complies with the activities. Provide walkthroughs within all the internal processes of the company to detect unsafe conditions or acts. Implementation of an action plan when unsafe conditions are detected. Check that the personnel transport trucks are in excellent safety conditions. Report findings and report to your direct manager. Ensure that service providers have all the legal requirements to work and that their permits have not expired, prepare a portfolio of service providers. Make sure you take your work permits. Ensure that contractors work safely. Inform maintenance by work order when any type of machinery, equipment or facilities relationship is required. Investigate on-site when there are accidents at work and prepare reports of accidents at work. Review the documentary information that is completed around safety and hygiene. Hold regular meetings with area managers when there is a high rate of workplace accidents. weekly Support in environmental and social monitoring when required. Hold semi-annual community meetings, monitor the work plan with the community and its compliance. Requirements Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar. Experience in the development of procedures, control formats, documentation. Experience in managing statistics and indicators. Experience in public and social security. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Experience in training.
