- What you will be doing
- Under general supervision of the Operations Shared Services Manager The holder of this position must fulfil his obligations in such a way that all tasks in his/her position are completed in a correct, timely, rapid and cost-efficient manner; shipments are sent by the most secure, most rapid, and most efficient way; the needs and expectations of the customer and other World Courier offices are considered and fulfilled; new regulations and technologies are immediately implanted; the customer receives the maximum amount of service-quality; the relationships to key subcontractors, agents, transporters (airlines, handling agents), customs and government agencies are built and maintained.

To assist front-line Operations and Customer Service associates in gathering information relating to transit time performance, flight routing and customs regulations, so they can perform their activities in the best way possible.

Participate in Business Review meetings and collaborate with Business Development to gather information and other contents prior to the presentations.

Guarantee the same costs agreed with the origin offices and/or external vendors are added to the company’s information systems.

Make sure all incidents related to the key account’s shipments are reported in the company’s information systems in order to allow trend analysis, action plans and escalations when required.

Interact, negotiate and request services to external vendors at other regions when the origin/destination offices are not able to do so. The regional in charge by the external vendors must be aware of such interaction at all times.

Lead conference calls with the region’s leadership, including but not limited to Branch/Country Managers, Operations Director, Sales Director and KAMs, to share updates about the relationship with the key account customers. All urgent events that may require the audience’s attention or action, should be communicated promptly despite the recurrent conference calls.

Act as owner of the key account’s shipments forecast, reporting any trend of number of shipments, revenue, either positive and negative. Stakeholders such as PH1, OPS and CS departments at other regions should also be informed of the key account customer’s shipment forecast to be prepared for any future increase in dem
