Senior Android Engineer

Who creates memorable TV watching experiences? We do. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a team creating the next gen of television and streaming experiences. You’ll work with a global team in developing new ways for people to enjoy their favorite content, while being a part of our award-winning culture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support a global team in the creation of new ways to watch TV
- Participate in the integration of all relevant solutions and tools into the Android framework
- Build android images, managing the full cycle of Android development
- Troubleshoot profile performance problems and driving optimizations that span the entire software stack

WHAT YOU HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong experience working with Android OS, Android TV, Android NDK & SDK, Kotlin, and Embedded Linux
- Familiarity with JNI and IPC mechanisms
- Knowledge of Modern C/C++ or Java standard libraries
- Experience with Linux kernel customization
- Proven history of building and customizing drivers, DTBO, Bluetooth, and WiFi
- Experience with Android or Linux performance tools and security models
- Good Communication Skills
