**Position Overview**: We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our remote team in Colombia. As a bookkeeper specializing in short-term rental management, you will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records for our properties. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team passionate about the hospitality industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for short-term rental properties
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions related to rental income and expenses
- Prepare monthly financial reports and invoices for property owners, including profit and loss statements
- Monitor and track rental income, expenses, and occupancy rates
- Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely payment and accurate recording of expenses
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance for rental properties
- Address inquiries from property owners regarding financial matters
- Seek and learn new software that saves time and increases efficiency

**Requirements**:

- Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, and/or others
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in Spanish and English

**Preferred but not required**:

- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices related to short-term rentals
- Experience working with short-term rentals
- Experience working remotely

**Benefits**:

- Salary range (commensurate with experience): 2,000,000-3,000,000 COP
