Moreover, our Workforce Optimization component derives actionable insights and identifies training opportunities, enabling call center associates to work effectively from anywhere and to continually improve. LiveVox is adding new positions across all department in the company in the US, Colombia and India.
**Responsibilities**:
Design, implement and test large-scale projects
- Design and develop new functionalities using Java and expose them using REST APIs
- Integrate third party services in the back-end
Be actively involved and work collaboratively with your team at all times to introduce new technologies and patterns and assure the code quality of the components
- Provide mentoring and support to fellow team members in best practices
- Works as part of an agile scrum team
**Requirements**:
- Strong industry experience in architecture and development of scalable production quality back-end systems, good understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data modeling, indexing and associated trade-offs
- 5+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks and interfacing with back-end languages
- Strong knowledge of Java - comfortable building concurrent and distributed services/platforms
- Strong skills in Postgres, Oracle and experience in writing basic SQL statements
- 1-2 years of experience with some flavor of Linux, e.g. CentOS, Fedora or RHEL
- Strong aesthetic sense, commitment to pixel perfection and appreciation for UX
- Strong, organized written and verbal communication in English is essential
- Passionate, adaptable, flexible, independent, and self-motivated individuals who take initiative and ownership of projects are desired
