Middle Aws DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer to integrate into our remote team. The role will involve managing AWS infrastructure, manipulating observability services, and embedding automation into operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- AWS infrastructure management using Terraform/CloudFormation, which includes tasks such as EKS version upgrades, blue/green deployments, scaling, and right-sizing
- Setup/tuning/modernization/migration/decommissioning of several observability services provided like Cortex/Mimir, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Alertmanager
- Python/Golang, Gitlab CI or customized self-service solutions based on the AWS Service Catalog for programmatically automating operations
- Docker image creation for diverse architectures including arm64, amd64
- Troubleshooting of issues relating to microservices in Kubernetes, AWS connectivity, service performance, Lambda functions, and Kafka
- Active involvement in hypercare events and on-call shifts
- Continuous interaction with mentor for progressive learning and enhancement of technical and soft skills

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum two years' experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Proficient knowledge of AWS infrastructure including EKS, ECS on Fargate, Lambda, ECR, Load Balancing, VPC Endpoint, Route53, CloudWatch
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Gitlab CI
- Proficient scripting skills in Python and Bash
- High-level troubleshooting skills concerning microservices in Kubernetes, AWS connectivity, services performance, Lambda functions, and Kafka
- Prior experience in on-call shifts and hypercare events
- Proficiency in English is necessary, a competency level of at least Upper-Intermediate

NICE TO HAVE
- Prior exposure in Cortex, Tempo, Promtail/FluentBit, and Monitoring Mixins
- Familiarity with New Relic, DataDog, Kafka, and Elasticsearch
- Knowledge in Golang will be considered an added advantage
