**Who we need**

We are looking for a talented person to join our Quality and Compliance team. The Quality and Compliance Specialist will report into the Director, Quality and Compliance and be responsible for helping maintain and improve our quality management system and compliance program. **What we need you to do**
- Work in a 100% remote role
- Learn the ins and outs of CQ fluency’s Translation Quality Management System (TQMS)
- Support the Quality & Compliance manager with CQ’s annual audit program:

- customer audits
- internal and process audits
- registrar audits, and
- vendor audits
- Assist in responding to customer requests for information, questionnaires, and RFPs.
- Oversee CQ fluency’s document control system and work with SMEs to create and update processes.
- Handle process improvement initiatives as assigned/needed.
- Facilitate compliance tasks in line with our HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements such as:

- Running monthly OIG/SAM checks
- Rollout of annual security and compliance training
- Facilitating monthly/quarterly compliance processes
- Aid in the root cause investigation and implementation of corrective actions for customer complaints
- Identify risk factors and potential problems and propose innovative solutions
- Assist in rolling out and tracking annual compliance training for all employees

**What we need you to have**
- 2 years minimum experience working in quality assurance, quality control or compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in leading high visibility, process improvement initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good judgement, tact and ability to work well with several business units within the organization
- Translation Industry experience is a plus
- Clear, concise communication skills. Excellent listening skills.
- Exceptional work ethic, strategic vision and the ability to deliver results
- Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-starter

**What we would like you to have**
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 17100 and ISO 13485 (lead auditor certification is a plus)
- Experience with HIPAA and HITECH
- Experience with HITRUST and ISO 27001
- Experience with Good Clinical Practices
