At **Arrive** Group, data is our most valuable asset. As a **Staff Data Engineer with 7+ years**, you'll be a technical leader, shaping the future of our data vision and strategy. This isn't just about building pipelines; it's about driving significant impact on high-priority projects, elevating the skills of your team, and collaborating with leadership to tackle complex challenges.

**What You'll Do**

You'll be at the forefront of our data initiatives, with responsibilities that include:

- ** Leading the technical direction** for your team's work, setting the strategic vision for our data infrastructure, and ensuring it aligns with our organizational goals.
- Playing an **active role in defining product and platform direction**, influencing decisions across the organization.
- **Independently navigating ambiguous and complex technical challenges**, requiring mínimal external assistance.
- Understanding the full spectrum of **end-user needs** and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Focusing on **high-priority projects** that deliver significant value to our users and stakeholders.
- **Mentoring and collaborating** with your team, helping them achieve their objectives and elevate their technical skills.
- **Advocating for and driving technical changes and best practices**, raising our engineering bar and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Acting as a **cultural carrier** for the engineering team, promoting a high standard of excellence and a commitment to better engineering practices.
- Ensuring your projects have a **clear end-user impact** and align with strategic goals, taking accountability for delivering meaningful outcomes.

**What You'll Bring**

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced data engineer with a passion for leadership and innovation.
- ** Extensive hands-on technical skills** in data engineering, with significant experience building and managing **big data systems, pipelines, and reporting solutions**.
- A **Bachelor's degree** in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in our core data engineering tech stack, including **Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Python, SQL, GitLab, AWS, Airflow, and DBT**.
- Expertise in **relational database platforms** and cloud database platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or GCP.
- Strong proficiency in **Python** and/or other data-centric languages.
- Thorough knowledge of **data modeling, database design, data architecture principles, and data operations**.
