**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- AWS Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, availability, and security.
- Implement best practices for AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and others.
- Optimize cloud resources to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.
- Hands-On Technical Leadership:
- Lead by example by actively contributing to the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide DevOps team members, providing technical expertise and support in cloud technologies and best practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Automation and Tooling:
- Develop automation scripts and tools using AWS SDKs, CLI, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Cloud Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our AWS environment, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor cloud services and infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Establish operational procedures, policies, and standards for cloud infrastructure management.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security controls and best practices to protect cloud resources and data.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance assessments, addressing any vulnerabilities or non-compliance issues.
- Understanding and/or experience with Kubernetes Architecture and resource Management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on AWS services.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards common goals.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
