Position Summary:
The Sales and Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on driving growth and revenue for Universal Transit. This individual will start by working as a Sales Representative for the initial 3-6 months to understand the business processes and prove their capability. Upon achieving $10,000 in monthly sales, the individual will be promoted to head the Sales Department and begin building a team. While working as a Sales Representative, you will be eligible to receive 10% of your sales.

Applicants must have sales experience in the US market to be considered. This job involves working from Bogotá, Colombia, for the US market.

Job Title: Sales and Business Development Director

Location: Remote (United States)

Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 08 AM EST - 5 PM EST

**Salary**: $1500-$3000 per month. You will be eligible for an aggressive and unlimited commission of 1% on the total sales generated by your team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the car shipping industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify potential growth areas.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company objectives.
- Sales:

- Place a high frequency of outbound sales calls to potential customers.
- Make 100 outbound calls per day.
- Present and sell company services to new and existing clients.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue goals.
- Management:

- Once promoted, lead the sales team in Bogotá, Colombia.
- Train and mentor new sales representatives.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline and report on progress regularly.
- Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company.
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development, preferably in the car shipping or transportation industry in the US.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent English communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the US market and experience in remote sales is highly desirable.

- Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

Work Environment:

- The role involves regular virtual meetings and occasional travel for client meetings and industry events.
