**Job Description**:
The Analytics Engineer is responsible for developing and operationalizing Analytical Models to make data available for consumption. This includes data modeling, data ingestion, data transformation, data validation / quality and engaging with Lead Developer during continuous integration and continuous deployment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analytics Engineers build and manage content matching standards for Data Models, DevOps, support and are technical stewards for units to the org.
- Design and implement standardized data modeling procedures around creating DAX/MDX measures, enabling Row Level and Object Level Security.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences both in written and verbal form
- Works in tandem with Data Architects to align on data architecture requirements provided
- Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery
- Implements big data solutions by developing scalable data processing platforms to drive high-value insights to the organization
- Supports development of Data Dictionaries and Data Taxonomy for product solutions
- Demonstrates strong understanding with coding and programming concepts to build Analytical Models and Security
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with extracting and shaping data for analysis, has proficiency in strategic tools: Tabular editor, Power BI, Python
- Experience in operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion
- Problem Solving & deep knowledge of SQL and analytical tools
- Understanding of how data flows are managed across the system
- Understanding of the data integration Processes/Tools
