Uptalent.io, a leading global platform connecting the most exciting companies in the world with Latam professionals, is seeking a **Remote Mechanical Engineer** **and Modeler** to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer and Modeler, you will work closely with our architects, designers, and engineers to create high-quality, accurate and efficient engineering models of mid size Residential and Commercial projects. You will help to define and develop the engineering components of these projects, working to ensure that they meet all relevant design standards and specifications. We’re looking for an innovative and motivated engineer with experience in the industry to help us build a better future

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed 3D models of complex architectural designs using CAD and other relevant software systems.
- Work closely with architects and designers to ensure that all engineering requirements are clearly defined and documented and that the engineering components of each project deliverables are accurate and on time.
- Analyze complex projects and create detailed engineering plans, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other members of the design team to ensure that all project-related engineering work is performed in accordance with project timelines and specifications.
- Provide technical support through all stages of the project, from concept development to final commissioning and handover.
- Conduct investigations, testing, and experiments to develop design solutions for complex problems.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs and improve quality.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Revit.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Fluent English
