IT & Digital Rdu Latam Lead

At AstraZeneca Latam we have a great opportunity in the IT/Digital area based in Colombia in the role IT & Digital RDU Lead LATAM. This person assists to develop and implement the Digital, Data & IT Strategy, transforming Rare disease business solutions leveraging on Commercial & Medical IT services, capabilities and innovations.

This role will work in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure AZ Rare Disease Business Unit’s technology, digital & Data footprint continues to evolve. The role works closely with the RD business unit leaders and RDU IT organization to ensure business growth and efficiency.

**Typical Accountabilities**
- Act as main IT point of contact for Rare Disease business in LATAM, responsible for Business & IT strategic alignment, road mapping, solution co-design, co-creation and delivery
- Develop and drive the IT (IS, platforms and enterprise solutions), Digital roadmap portion of the Digital Strategy in LATAM area aligning with all the local IT Leads and Digital Lead in LATAM.
- Provide digital Strategic input and recommendations to brand and commercial teams at area level.
- Development of best practice digital assets for the organization within budget and deadlines
- Support and build digital capability of Brand Teams, focusing on customer experience, channel mix, digital technologies and analytics leveraging on the IT Leads local pipeline.
- Provide ongoing best practice, digital advice to the AZ business. Be the primary point of contact across the organization for digital RDU projects at area level LATAM.
- Establish efficient processes and propose new resources as required in response to changing demand
- Advise and influence closed loop marketing approach
- Deliver, Embed and communicate Digital analytics standard to LATAM area (Digital KPIs).
- Liaise with the Global Digital Team to facilitate sharing of knowledge, implementation of global digital projects and leverage of digital assets.
- Select and manage preferred suppliers and contractors with LATAM presence.
- Drive a simplification agenda for IT and digital portfolio
- Creates relationships with Customer Facing and Enabling Functions stakeholders, developing deep understanding of the business future direction, strategies and needs at area level.

**Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Degree level education or equivalent in IT
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and vice versa
- Experience with Data Models & Data Transformations, Big Data & Predictive Analysis
- Commercial & Medical business acumen with Experience in Patient Support program, CRM/Healthcloud, Digital health and SaMD.
- Excellent team-working skills (especially in a culturally diverse, demanding environment) and a willingness to get alongside issues, provide clear direction and drive results
- Experience working with digital metrics and ROI analysis.
- Experience with Patient Services in the Pharma Industry
- Experience driving strategic simplification
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders (Spanish and English)
- Excellent Project Management skills (Waterfall / Agile methodologies).
- Strong knowledge of measurement tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
