You will be responsible for the databases in production including support, administration, maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning. You will help the development teams to use the DB correctly.

**Missions**:

- Support developers with DB related development and design, including reviewing DB aspects in code (structure, performance, indexes).
- Monitor, find and Improve ill performing statements and other problems
- Maintain and improve the Data Integrity
- Ongoing maintenance such as backups, upgrades and parameter changes.
- Support in case of live situations (locks, deadlocks, availability etc.)

**Must Have**:

- Proficient in reading and writing SQL queries including window functions
- Capable of “DB programming” (triggers, plpgsql etc.)
- Capable of administering postgresql
- Capable of performance tuning
- Capable of giving support in a live situation
- Manage cloud databases (AWS, GCP)

**Nice to have**:

- Knowledge of NoSQL i.e : MongoDB
- Programming capabilities with javascript/python
