**Junior Accountant**

**Location**: Medellín, Colombia
**Type**: In-Office
**Schedule**: Full-time
**Contract Type**: Permanent

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Record and reconcile accounting transactions in the company’s financial system.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to support management decisions.
- Assist in tax return preparation and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records in compliance with Colombian and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with international teams and vendors, ensuring clear and professional communication in English.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **1-2 years of experience** in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and **Colombian tax regulations**.
- **Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).**:

- Proficiency in accounting software and **Microsoft Excel**.
- Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
