**Corporate Staff Accountant - Bogotá**

**About The Role**:Acento Real Estate Partners is looking for a **Corporate Staff Accountant**to support our Senior Accountant/Treasury. **Advanced English level is a MUST**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting and Operations**:

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy.
- Manage daily accounting operations for corporate entities.
- Ensure compliance US GAAP,COL GAAP, and IFRS.
- Generate and present timely financial reports to management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring budget performance.
- **General Ledger Management**:

- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget discrepancies.
- **Audit Support and Tax Compliance**:

- Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax return preparation.
- **Internal Controls and Process Improvement**:

- Streamline financial processes and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned

**Qualifications**:

- **Advanced English**level (C1 - C2) is a **MUST**:

- **3 - 5 years** of experience in general accounting.
- COL GAAP knowledge **required**:

- IFRS knowledge **required**:

- Colombian tax knowledge **required**.
- US GAAP knowledge is a** plus.**:

- 1+ year of experience in real estate accounting is a **plus.**
